That Awkward Moment (2014)

Storyline:

Three best friends find themselves where we've all been - at that confusing moment in every dating relationship when you have to decide "So...where is this going?"

​​Milestones (FIRST ACT):

1. Ordinary World: Jason, Daniel and Mikey are best friends. Mikey, however, is having a rough time since his wife told she cheated on him and wants to get a divorce.
2. Meeting the Goddess (00:13:00): Jason meets Ellie at the bar and they get along really well and go home together. But during the night Jason starts believing that Ellie is a hooker. So he leaves while she sleeps.
3. Call to Adventure (00:18:00): Mikey's ex-wife changed her Facebook status. In order to cheer Mikey up, the three of them agree to stay single.
4. Crossing the Threshold/Making Enemy (00:20:00): Ellie is the new co-worker of Jason. He tells her he thought she was a hooker and she gets mad at him.

Milestones (SECOND ACT):

1. Set of Trials (00:23:00): Jason tries to make things okay with Ellie giving her a sweet drawing. She gives him a shot and they talk for hours and get along easily. Daniel hangs out with his best girlfriends and they kiss. Mikey receives the apologies from his ex-wife. Jason has sex with another girl and explains to Mikey the back-up girl theory.
2. Set of Trial (00:36:00): Jason takes Ellie into an expensive open house so that he can steal the key of free access to the park. Mikey has sex with his ex-wife
3. Crossing the Second Threshold (00:46:00): Ellie arrives at Jason's place she makes everybody have a good time. Jason starts to feel different about having a girlfriend.
4. Set of Trial (00:49:00): In the next night Daniel is not able to flirt with a girl at the bar. He is also having feelings for an specific girl. Daniel tells her he would like to be more than friends. Jason goes to Ellie's party wearing a funny costume but it was actually a dress-up birthday party. At first he is really awkward since he meets her parents but a few moments later he takes control of the situation.
5. Approaching The Inmost Cave (00:55:00): Daniel sees himself in the awkward situation. Jason dances alone with Ellie after the party.

Milestones (THIRD ACT):

1. Belly of the Whale (01:03:00): Ellie's father dies. Jason refuses to go to the funeral. Mikey has a fight with his ex-wife and Daniel and his girlfriend as well. Later Jason, Mikey and Daniel fight in the bathroom. Jason meets Ellie and tries to start over but she is fed up with him.
2. Set of Trial (01:17:00): Jason tries to have sex with other girls. It doesn't work.
3. Resurrection and Elixir (01:19:00): Jason, Daniel and Mikey have a talk. They turn to be friends again. Daniel gets his girl back and Mikey finally gets over of his ex-wife.
4. The Ultimate Boon (01:25:00): Jason goes to Ellie's book reading and tells her he is sorry in front of a crowd and how much he loves her.
5. Freedom to Live (01:28:00): Jason waits for Ellie sitting on a frozen beach of the park. She shows up.
